I created Silver Smart because I saw too many older New Zealanders being targeted by scams, overwhelmed by technology, and struggling to find a trustworthy place online that understood their lives.
My mum told me she'd stopped reading the news because it was too negative. What she wanted was warm NZ stories from her era, practical help with her phone, and somewhere she could ask a question without feeling silly. That's Silver Smart.
